Adios, Runtime Fee
Unity is Canceling the Runtime Fee
Yep, you heard that right. All that boycotting finally paid off. Unity is cancelling its Runtime Fee plans.
But the journey through the production of the Baby Einstein Experiment is a long, perilous one.
Like I said, I haven't done a lot of work on the game, just model and concept art work. It is hard to make a game when you have a lot of other stuff on your schedule, like college and work. Especially when your company is a one-man band.
But I won't give up on the BEE yet.
I am still using Blender to make the models. I am still working on concept art. I have yet to write a story and dialogue. But the game is still in the works.
I am returning to using Unity now that the Fee is gone. I am also using Godot as a backup in case something goes wrong.
I am still hiring, so if you'd like, ask about the current game files and I'll send them through Google Drive so you can work on them.
Cheers!

This is a concept that I've wanted to see for awhile now, since I grew up watching the Baby Einstein videos. I would love to work on this, just don't have that much experience with Blender or game engines like Unity.
You could do storyboards, writing or character design, if you have any experience in those.
so glad to see you’re still working on this. i’m super interested in this game.
